Ricky & Jess’s started their day hopping tubes from their home on the outskirts of London to their wedding venue, Hawksmoor Guildhall, in the heart of the city. The underground is so iconic and coupled with the stunning architecture around our final stop at Bank, it gave us some truly unique backdrops for the start of Ricky & Jess’s day.
Much like their journey, Hawksmoor Guidhall was a truly unique venue. With plenty of rich mahogany and many leather-bound books - it’s a far cry from the rustic barns we’re used to!
Henrik & Malin’s stunning wedding set in Sheen Mill, a 400 year of Mill located in the small rural town of Melbourn, just outside of Royston, Hertfordshire.
2019 was our busiest year to date, so we felt it only right to honour some of our favourite moments of the year in a blog post. You definitely won’t want to miss number 10 on our list, trust me!
Being chosen by a couple to shoot their wedding is a huge honour, but when you’ve been asked by two close friends who you’ve known since secondary school, it really is a big deal (no pressure then!?).
Who doesn’t love a wedding with plenty of opportunity for mischief? Richard and Sarah definitely knew exactly what they were doing when they chose Barrington Hall as their venue.
Take the ornate details of Kelmarsh Hall, a grade 1 listed house in Northamptonshire, team it with beautiful gardens, a killer sunset and an all-round lovely couple, Jamie & Sally’s big day was one of the highlights of 2018 for me.
here do you start with these two? I’ve been lucky enough to call Ryan and Chloe my friends for the past decade, so naturally when they asked us to shoot their wedding video for them it was a huge honour.
Jordan and Jodie absolutely nailed their wedding! They opted for a decor with lots of natural foliage, earthy tones, all highlighted with gold accents, which worked perfectly with the beautiful bare oak timbers of their wedding venue; The Oak Tree of Peover.
I’d been looking forward to shooting John and Nicola’s wedding since we met back in July for their pre-wedding shoot. They were both so down to earth and relaxed I knew their wedding day would be full of laughs.
Travelling down to Jamie & Laura's wedding, Tom told me this would be a good one. He'd already had the pleasure of meeting them on their Pre-Wedding Shoot and gelled with them instantly.
I think one of the coolest things about a couple using their own private venue to host their wedding is that everything you see has been dreamed up and put in to place by them.
It's not very often I get a chance to visit a couple at their wedding venue prior to the big day. So when Jonny and Georgia suggested merging a wedding meeting with their pre-wedding shoot, it seemed like the perfect chance for me to have a recce of the area.
One of the fascinating things about being a wedding photographer is being able to experience all of the different cultures and traditions people follow on their wedding day.
I've never ventured into the depths of London before, so when John and Nicola suggested a stroll around the Limehouse Cut Canal for their pre-wedding shoot, I didn't really know what to expect.
