Ricky & Jess’s started their day hopping tubes from their home on the outskirts of London to their wedding venue, Hawksmoor Guildhall, in the heart of the city. The underground is so iconic and coupled with the stunning architecture around our final stop at Bank, it gave us some truly unique backdrops for the start of Ricky & Jess’s day.
Much like their journey, Hawksmoor Guidhall was a truly unique venue. With plenty of rich mahogany and many leather-bound books - it’s a far cry from the rustic barns we’re used to!
Henrik & Malin’s stunning wedding set in Sheen Mill, a 400 year of Mill located in the small rural town of Melbourn, just outside of Royston, Hertfordshire.
Travelling down to Jamie & Laura's wedding, Tom told me this would be a good one. He'd already had the pleasure of meeting them on their Pre-Wedding Shoot and gelled with them instantly.
One of the fascinating things about being a wedding photographer is being able to experience all of the different cultures and traditions people follow on their wedding day.
James & Krystle chose to make their vows in the stunning setting of Waltham Abbey, whilst the wedding reception took place at Blake Hall. This rural setting was the perfect place to host the evening's celebrations and really harmonised with Krystle's love of everything equestrian, which particularly shone through with her collection of horseshoe table plan and table decorations. Before the newlyweds sat down for their first meal as man and wife, there was one more surprise for Krystle...
Awesome venue? Check! Summer sun? Yup! Kick ass couple? You bet! Needless to say, Chris and Julija's wedding scored pretty highly on our 'Awesome Wedding-o-Meter' (patent-pending).
Tom & Rachel chose to celebrate their marriage in the rural setting of The Sussex Barn, near the Norfolk coast. We'd not had the opportunity to shoot here before, but it's safe the say that the 18th century barn provided a stunning rustic backdrop for the day.
